A digital converter isn't required unless your TV doesn't have an ATSC tuner.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your TV will accept a coaxial cable connection, the antenna system will fit. No adapter. Plug amp unit into wall outlet. Connect coax from antenna circle to the amp unit where it says "to antenna", on the amp unit case. Connect coax to amp unit where it says "to TV" on amp case, and connect remaining free end to "Antenna In" connection on back of TV. You are done connecting. Place antenna as high up in the room as possible, on a window, if possible, facing the signal tower. Turn on TV and run basic channel search in set up section of TV main menu. If you have signal, it should work. Note: Your TV needs to be set to receive an antenna signal, not a cable signal. If you formerly used the TV and bought cable, you will need to change this setting as well, in the set up section of menu.
