“Would this antenna work if it was placed behind the TV or does it have to be out in the open or in front of a window?”

However, with all antennas being used indoors, we recommend placing it near a window as high as possible for optimal signal reception. • I tried various locations inside my house. I had the best luck placing it high on the wall 6-7’ above the floor on the wall that faces the signal tower. Used a free app called Antenna Point. I also tried it outside the house in the event I would have to install it outside. I got pretty much the same results.
