• I think so, but you'll probably need a digital tuner unless your TV has one built-in. The Best Buy TV people can probably answer that better than me.

• It will work with any TV as long as it can pick up a broadcast signal.

• You can only get HD TV with an HD TV ! The signal should work for a non-HD TV only you wont get HD picture.

• No it doesn't have to be a HD TV. But your TV must have a digital receiver or you must use a converter box (about $50). I don't know of any flat screen TV that do not have a digital receiver. Older tube style TV will need the converter box.
