A:AnswerThis item is definitely a DIY installation. Just screw into the coaxial cable connector on TV and place in a spot that gets best reception. You may need to move it around a few times to figure out where that may be though. You will need to go to the menu on your TV and scan for digital channels. Once this is done you should be able to watch tv over the air at no additional cost!

A:AnswerI don't have this problem, Robin. We put our antenna high up on our wall close to an outside window. I think the higher the antenna is and the closer it is to an outside window the better reception will be. Good luck.
