I purchased for $300 off on sale and can state YES. At work, routinely working remotely with others so 8 have Google hangouts open with them, then about 5 other apps, plus all the google apps stuck in chrome. Tried managing this all across 2 and 3 monitors and was constantly loosing windows, screens, and lost in tabbed chrome h#**. With 40 inches and screens+, every window has a position or docking location with screens+. I’m not ever going back to multiple smaller monitors and give up all this flexibility as there is nothing like having what you are working on dead center in the screen, scaled to whatever size you need it, and watching other windows at the sides and being able to switch back and forth by just double-clicking the title bars. I am completely sold on one piece of glass with screen+ to provide 8 docking slots for various windows. And if you don’t want 8, screen+ allows you to break up the space however you want. Again, never going back to separate monitors and being locked into their boundaries.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my opinion, it depends on what your needs are. I use it for connecting 2 PC's with dual monitor functionality for each. It allows me 4 separate sections that I can have multiple windows open at a time. For working, this is a great way to become more efficient. As a Gaming monitor, I can't say, I don't game. But I can say that the red blur trails may be a turn off for someone looking to game on this monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. If you compare to other monitors that come close to this one, this has the best value for the money. I would encourage to download the manual in PDF format, and you can see what features it has that are missing on other monitors
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best monitor I have ever owned. I'm over 50 and print is really easy to read on say 250-300 zoom and I can still see the full screen and content. Video is fantastic. Fills the whole screen and no lag time. I don't do gaming but I'd say it would work fine. I would just say get an appropriate video card that can handle 4K. Mine does and the picture is perfect. I got it on sale for $500. Trust me, that's a steal for this monitor. It comes in a huge box and I could hardly fit it in the back seat of my civic. Most of it is just foam protection. It is a beautiful monitor. Monitor comes with every cable you could possibly want or use (HDMI, etc...) Yes, worth every cent. And, I got the extended warranty just in case. Phil
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it absolutely is!! I was skeptical at first but when I got it, the resolution, not to mention the quality, was amazing. It screen and size of the monitor was bigger than I thought but well worth it. The build of the monitor is very elegant as well, you will not be disappointed!!
