No. If you have a Windows based System, simply go into Device Manager and make sure your Plug and Play video driver is recent. DO NOT use the AOC provided driver at the bottom of the page at http://us.aoc.com/product_feature.php?id=84. The Microsoft PnP driver just works and allows you to feed multiple inputs from your laptop or workstation to the monitor to take advantage of PIP and PbP along with 4 inputs if your system can do that. PnP driver from MS will pickup you have the AOC 4008 monitor and work perfectly. I cannot say that about AOC’s driver.
