Will this work with an HP Elitebook? null

Works just fine with HP Envy laptop, as long as you have a USB port your HP Notebook should automatically recognize that it is a remote monitor. It will show as a black screen for a moment or two, then should turn right on. I have not had to use both USBs, except the first time I connected one to my GF's older Lenovo laptop. Subsequent connections needed only one USB connection.
