Thank you for your inquiry. As a general policy, APC does not recommend the use of any of its products in life support applications. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer of the oxygen machine to see what suggestions they have for supporting their product during a power outage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, you may want to look into these units as they also have much bigger battery's configurations available for longer run time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use supplemental oxygen. My portable unit (Simply Go) runs seamlessly off power generated by my APC unit. I am blessed to be alive at this time in history. APC's first-class engineers came to the aid of me and they are available to all other supplemental oxygen users.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use this on an O2 generator, absolutely, as long as the machine doesn't use more than 650 watts. I have an AirSep O2 generator, it's rated at 4 amps, which, multiply by 120 volts. equals 480 watts, which is well within the capacity of this particular battery backup. You can use it on just about anything. Besides my PC, I also plug my TV cable box and modem into it because it takes about 5 mins for the cable box to reboot if the power winks out for even a second.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will give you abou two hours of battery with only one device running on it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could try but it depends on the load. I once used one to run a small pump and it blew the circuit almost right away. This model APC will show you the draw on it and beep so you should know pretty soon if it works for your device or not. Example. I was hoping to protect my laser printer with it and it was ok when idle but when it printer it uses a lot of power and set the alarm off. I decided to only protect my computer and monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dont see why you couldnt, it has battery backup power but for an o2 machine you might want something with some more juice such as the 1200 so it will last longer during a power outage
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need to know the current draw of the unit, as long as it is below 650 watts (including a possible peek at startup) the answer is yes. One VERY important question you may want to ask is about run time at your load. Depending on how close to the max you are, this may only last a few minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In short 'Yes'. Long answer is how much power does the oxygen machine use. This will determine how long it will run during a power outage. Next question is, how long is the power outage going to be? Is it critical to stay on during the entire outage even when the outage lasts several days? The UPS most likely won't last that long. For a good answer there are too many variables that need to get answered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on how much current the O2 machine draws and how much run time you are looking for.
