Probably would not keep up a TV for long, maybe at all, especially this one. Check the power consumption wattage of your Directv to see if it can handle the load. If it can, then you could use it for power flickers or blips. I do that for my modem and router to avoid reboots in power blips like that. You could also cut the cord from Directv so we can stop the overpriced service. Lol...but true.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.. We use for tv/cable box/receiver to maintain power before generator kicks in.. It'll work great for what you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your interest in our products. The BE425M would help in power blimps however it may stay on battery while on generator. If this ends up being the case you can drop the sensitivity down to low to see if the UPS will stay online. Generally our BackUPS Pro units will work better with generators if you wanted to check them out. The BE425M would support 255 watts of power connected to it so you would want to make sure the receiver doesn't draw over that. Adding the TV would depend on how much power the TV draws as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably would keep the directTV box up but maybe a little light for the TV. APC does make an av series though which is more geared towards what you are looking for. Take a look at the SBATTBLk for the H10 or H15 power conditioners.
