“Will this machine send a power down signal to a listening service on the PC so it can shut down gracefully?”

• Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately the BN450M wouldn't have the option to shutdown the PC. We do have the option on our BN650M1 which is the next step up. You can connect the BN650M1 via the USB port on the unit to you PC to provide a graceful shutdown. The shutdown would be down by on native energy management or our PowerChute software.
