Quick and dirty test is to yank the power cord from the outlet you have the APC plugged into. I'm sure there is another way via the buttons/software interface, but as long as it keeps powering anything on the battery side once you unplug the APC from the wall outlet then it is good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am thinking that this is not the appropriate battery supply for a sump.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unplug it from the wall turn it on and see if your pump works or use a volt meter
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you must be kidding.....just pull the plug of the unit out of the wall...that is a power failure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your recent inquiry. Please note that we do not recommend connecting sump pump and other motorized load to our Back-UPS units. Our Smart-UPS tend to be better suited to handled non IT type loads or motorized loads. Our FAQ document FA158851 provides additional details on this topic. The BN4001 is only rated for 257 watts. If the maximum possible power draw for the pump exceeds this, you will overload the unit.
