In a word, yes. My power recliners have a built in battery pack, you might check to see if yours does and if so do those batteries need replacing, but yes, the ups should provide sufficient power to get you “declined”.

They can overload the UPS if the draw more power than the UPS support. This unit would support 255 watts of equipment connected to it. You would want to make sure the chair doesn't draw more than that. If it does you would want to go with a larger UPS.
