• Depends on your software. It supports anything that works with APCupsd, or whatever the manufacturer ships.

• Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately our BackUPS and BackUPS Pro units do not have the ability to send emails or text alerts when the UPS goes to battery. You would only have the option if you went up to our SmartUPS line. To send an email alert with a SmartUPS unit you would need to install PowerChute Business Edition or have a network card in the UPS. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
