• The unit includes a battery. After you unpack the unit from its box, you will need to open a side panel,connect one power cable to the battery, then close the panel. Then you're ready to go. Hope that helps!

• The batteries are included. So they don’t get discharged to zero before they’re sold, they’re in the unit but disconnected. It’s a 30-second process to connect the battery and a giant sticker calls this to your attention.
