“If the power flickers, does the unit switch back onto outlet power or will it continue to use its battery until some kind of manual intervention? (My cyberpower stays on battery and it drives me nuts that a power flicker requires me to turn off the unit).”

My understanding and experience is that it will maintain the 110v source automatically with or without AC main power. Obviously the runtime is limited on battery power but i have never had to make a manual adjustment to my APS due to flickering or anything else. Mine stays connected and switches automatically.
