Thank you for your interest in our products. Yes a BackUPS would help with power fluctuations. However if this is a laser printer there is a chance it would overload the UPS since they tend pull a bit of power. You would need to make sure what the maximum power draw is of the printer so it doesn't overload the UPS. This specific unit would support 600 watts of power connected to that.
