“I connected my PC to this and it lights up the yellow light. It doesn't light up for any other connections. Does that mean I should not connect the PC? Are PCs not supposed to be connected to power surge protectors? Thanks”

Naren, I have model #P11U2 and my yellow light is for a indication of a Overload. "OVERLOAD Detection Indicator - illuminates (yellow) when the unit is loaded above 12 amps." Is the light on with no connections? Does the light come on with only the PC connected? Unless you have several high current draw devices connected I would suspect the surge protector to have a fault in its overload detection circuit. Does the PC work correctly when plugged into a wall outlet directly? Are you able to try another outlet in your home?

Unfortunately the PC is overloading the surge protector which is why the yellow light is illuminating. You can connect a PC to the surge protector but you would need to move some of the other equipment from the unit to bring the load under 12 amps.
