Ajay, et al, My experience with ALL of the APC power handling equipment I've ever owned, tells me that this "strip" will certainly NOT add to any electric line interference that manifests itself in "noise" being output by a PA system (depending on, of course, the electrical power supply its plugged into and other environmental factors that might effect wireless transmissions (microphones, etc.) feeding into a PA amplifier). ALL APC power strips are "wired" with low-resistance, large-gauge wires that provide far better power/signal flow than ANY generic ("el-cheap-o") power strip you might find at the local hardware store or grocery market. - I have one of these strips handling ALL the power for my whole home theater system (and another one for my 12 TB computer system), but it IS in a house that was built less than 20 years ago: The house wiring is ALL heavy-gauge copper, etc., etc., etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most likely it won't. It's designed to reduce the chances that an electrical surge will damage equipment plugged into the outlets. Electrical noise is also called Radio Frequency Interference or RFI. RFI can be caused by any electrical equipment from lights to the transformer outside your location. You can try turning off each electrical system one at a time until you find it. Or, you can contact a local amateur radio club that might be able to help you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not, you'd be better to get a bigger power conditioning unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not an expert on electrical radio frequency interference, but there are number of amateur radio operators who do have experience in tracking down the offending equipment or source of RFI. Ask a local amateur radio club for assistance. They should help find the problem for free and most likely know the solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for inquiry. The unit does provide EMI and RFI noise filtering. It should reduce some of the electrical noise that is affecting your PA system.
