how does the master control other outlets null

Thank your for your interest in our products. Unfortunately the master control outlets is not available on the P11VT3. I believe you are referring to our product P11GTV. How it would work on the P11GTV is if the unit plugged into the master outlet is turned off then the surge protector will turn off the slave outlets on the unit.
