Thank you for your interest in our products. The P11VT3 would come with a equipment protection policy of $100,000 for the lifetime of the unit. Yes the unit would protect from surges on the coax line and power connection. You would want to make sure the cable connection is connected to the surge protect as well since a surge can come through that as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it will protect it. I had an electrical problem where the main circuit was shot/back on several times within seconds. In my kitchen I had my keurig and toasters attaches to another surge protector, my keurig did not survived. I had this one in my home office with printer, laptop, shredder, router connected and although the surge protector did not survived it protected my equipment. The APC people sending me a new one to replace it.
