    • Answer Thank you for taking time to provide feedback about our BGM1500B-US unit. The runtime time will depend on actual consumption of Modems. Typically the are around 10 to 20 watts but may be higher depending on model. The unit power meter will not be able to detect load below 90 watts so UPS prediction may be a bit off but I would be around 2 - 3 hours.   • QuestionHow long will it provide power to a modem and separate router when they’re the only devices active in case of a power outage?

    • Answer Thank you for taking time to provide feedback about our BGM1500BUS unit. Most common low powered routers and modems would consume 10 to 24 watts. But there are some that may use more depending on model check Modem and routers voltage and amperage requirements to see how much they can draw Volts * Amps =Watts i.e 12Volts * 2 amps = 24 watts Since Load is less than 10% the UPS may not report runtime properly but assuming that router and modem is at 90 watts which I see as 1h 14min if lower UPS may not predict it properly but will be a little longer since we have to consider efficiency. Currently Runtime for BGM1500BUS is currently unavailable but use a similar UPS BN1500M2 for comparison it should be slightly similar but wait for data to be available soon for the unit while we update website. See "Run time for load " and enter wattage at BN1500M2's product page https://www.se.com/us/en/product/BN1500M2/apc-backups-pro-1500va-tower-120v-10-nema-515r-outlets-lcd-1-usb-type-c-+-1-usb-type-a-ports/ Runtime will also vary depending on efficiency, load and battery capacity. Typical life span of batteries is 3-5 years and will degrade depending on temperature and charge discharge rate (approximately 200 cycles on Sealed lead acid batteries) Data on product page is based on brand new APC batteries and brand new UPS.
