Q: QuestionAm I able to set the iPad up without having to connect it to a computer? I do not have a computer that is current enough for Apple devices to connect to ITunes for set up, updates, etc., which is why i don't invest in iphones.. used to require a computer.

• A:Answer iPhones and iPads not necessarily need a computer in order to set it up. In most cases you only need a WiFi connection and a Apple ID that can be created in any device capable of accessing internet browser.

• A:Answer There would be no reason to unlock it cause it’s the WiFi only version, there is no cellular option in this model. The iPads that come locked are usually tied to a specific provider like att or Verizon ext.
