• save your money - don’t purchase warranty - apple covers up to like 1 year free or more - and unlikely to break ipad easily

• Apple's 1 year standard Product warranty ONLY covers parts that are/become defective within that year. AppleCare+ covers things like I dropped it and now have a damaged screen. You would pay a service fee of $29. Without AppleCare+ you could be paying close to the cost of a brand new iPad. Other accidental damages cost $99 and you have unlimited number of incidents/accidents with AppleCare+.
