“One question: Do I HAVE to keep and use iTunes? I can no longer stand that program and my disgust with it makes that a total deal breaker. I just want to delete that mess and be done with it forever. If iTunes has to be on there, no deal. Ever. Thank you!”

If you don’t want to use iTunes I suggest you search for a non Apple tablet, as most apps are purchased thru iTunes, if you are an Amazon Prine member you can watch videos and listen to music with your Prine menbersbut you would have to get those apps thru the App Store, plus any previous iTunes purchased music, movies or apps are tired to your iTunes account
