The cellular models include GPS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t believe that any iPads are pre-oaded with an internal GPS........in order to have that you need to downloaded GPS from the App Store like you would on a phone. But, if you have the cellular version it’s much better then using your phone as a hot spot and draining your data plan and battery . You can also download many different GPS apps that will allow your iPad to become a good GPS using google maps, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From the iPad Pro specification page: Location All models • Digital compass • Wi-Fi • iBeacon microlocation Wi-Fi + Cellular models • Assisted GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS Cellular
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.typically, the internal GPS is only available on the LTE version. The GPS is built into the LTE radio, and that's where it gets the location data. Although you don't need a data connection/plan, the LTE radio still pings towers to establish the GPS data....I do believe you have to turn on the Cellular function on older iPad OS as a minimum.
