Yes it will work. I bought the unlocked (Cellular) iPad and I was able to purchase a Monthly data pack from T-Mobile using eSIM and I installed my SIM card from Verizon. Both works great. AT&T wouldn't be any different and should work the same.

Yes, I’m using an unlocked 2018 12.9 iPad Pro under my AT&T account. I believe you purchase/add a tablet line with AT&T and they will give you a SIM card.

Yes.. it works perfect on all network be it in USA or abroad..all you need to do is put your active SIM card in it..all the best/AweMD
