• We the purchaser selects “Wi-Fi” it doesn’t mean that the tablet has internet. It means that the table can connect to your internet at home or any available Wi-Fi outside that you allow it to connect in order to get internet. This selection is free. If you chose a provider it will come with an additional monthly statement. Hope this helped

• The WIFI version of this iPad works with the WIFI network you may already have, or a hotspot somewhere. If you buy the WIFI + CELLULAR version with service through a phone company, there will be a monthly charge for that service, and you have your own mobile WIFI access everywhere. The first version is limited to a local short distance, like within your home.
