Best Buy sells one that has cellular also. It would’ve cost me $600 more for it (plus monthly cellular fees). I had intended on getting the cellular version and I messed up when I ordered. However, for $600, I’m thinking that wifi will do.

You can get a specific carrier or one that is unlocked so that you could use any carrier. I would choose the unlocked version if I wanted one with the cellular option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.iPads are available as Wi-Fi + Cellular models. However, this particular model is a Wi-Fi only iPad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep. You can buy the wifi version which is what I bought OR the 5G Cellular model. I'm always connected to wifi... home, relatives, coffee shops, etc. Plus, if I wasn't around wifi, I'd just tether to my iPhone via hotspot. Boom. Then I'd have 5g or whatever is available. And fyi, if you're using wifi or your iPhone as a hotspot, you can call out or FaceTime on your iPad. You don't really need cellular... unless you do of course. :)
