difference between 8 gb and 16 gb null

The 16gb memory is going to be much faster and support running multiple programs at the same time. Do yourself a favor and get the 16gb.

If you're asking about RAM, 16GB gives you more options for resolution and how quickly everting will run, and if you're an artist, expands how many layers you can add to something.
