To Moses (and anyone who read his answer), that is incorrect. The link you provided is for the 27" version. That one does have a memory accessible slot on the back. This model...the 21.5" does NOT. As the other answers have posted, it is doable to change the RAM yourself, but not advisable. You do have to basically dismantle the entire unit, likely voiding your warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can "you" do it, yes but probably not advised.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The glass is glued in place, magnets are no longer used, to save money I suspect. The memory slots are buried inside the computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can upgrade the ram yourself, but it won't be as easy as performing a similar upgrade in a macbook or in a tower. The display's protective glass screen is held in place by magnets, and you can pop it off using only your thumbnails. Make sure the unit is lying on its back. The display is secured with 8 torx screws, and once they're undone, lift the display only slightly so you don't break any cable connectors. Undo the cables, remove the monitor, and you should be able to find the RAM soon. look at some videos on iFixit first. Not impossible, but not the easiest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have done it, it is easy. Make sure you buy the correct high quality memory, it is worth the money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Look at my other posts. yes moderately easy to upgrade yourself and well worth the money and you learn lots about the mac
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know where people are getting their info. I don't have this computer, but you can read the manual at Apple.com. There is a memory slot on the BACK. Just remove and add more memory. Easy. https://help.apple.com/imac/late-2017/#/apdd768f6349
