“Is this the 2020 model?”

• NO IT IS NOT a 2020 model. It is a 2019. I just bought it and entered the serial number into Apple Care and it says 2019. I called Apple and they verified it is a 2019. I then call Best Buy and told them their add said Latest Model and this is not correct. Their attitude is too bad!!! And of course they say they do not have 2020 model when asked about returning the 2019. They try to sell you a 27" which is 2020 model but a lot more expensive.

• Yes. Its a 2020 model. iMac 21.5" has following model numbers for 2019: MRT42LL/A - Core-i5 (2019 Model) MRT32LL/A - Core-i3 (2019 Model) The iMac 21.5" 2020 model numbers start with MKH.

• I purchased mine over the phone and was assured it's a 2020 model. However, it arrived today, at the end of August in 2021, and here is what About This Mac says: iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2019) Given that I had the agent double check this, I'm displeased.
