There's not much difference in the two. I would go for than 8 gig of memory
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on your needs. If you are a creative kind of person, I’d say spend the extra money and get the much higher power computer. Photo and video editing take a lot more computer resources. Unless you are stretching your budget too thin, I’d get the M1 Mac anyway for having a more future-proof Mac. Personally, I always go for the newest technology. You can get a lot of help with this type of question by going to MacRumors.com and check out their forums. Good luck with your decision
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't see any reason to go for the newer model. I am not seeing any problem with the 2020 model. The 21 inch monitor is plenty big enough. I don't feel like I am missing anything compared to the 24 inch. Operationally, I don't see any issues. I am not a super power user so the 2020 should do me a long time. Upgrade to Big Sur OS was a snap. Running Office 2019 with no problems at all. I am happy with the 2020. Plus I save close to a third of the cost. All in, a good deal.
