“I have the Airpods gen 2 and recently in the years the audio has muffled and gotten quiet. No, it’s not wax buildup I’ve had it checked, and I can use it fine, but I really want something that I can really hear and clean well. Are these worth the upgrade?”

Yes to me they are worth the upgrade

Please try again later.100% i used to have the originals and yes, they are worth it as the rubber seal feels miles more comfortable and the things like transparency and noise cancellation still blow my mind, and i have a lot of headsets that are double the price of the AirPods Pro yet the AirPods sound better then most of them, and cleaning wise, most of the wax goes on the rubber tips which are easily removable, washable, and replaceable.
