The storage case is the charging case with a battery. Charge everything up and carry around. If you use the pods for a while drop them back in the case and they will charge up from the built in battery in the case. I forget how many times the pods can be fully charged by the case, before you need to charge up again from a power supply. Yes they work on an Android phone; these use standard Bluetooth connectivity, so just pair up as you would any Bluetooth device. Connectivity is a more seamless and automatic if using with an Apple (I-phone etc, etc).
