• Yes, this connects via your network - either as a stand alone router (replacing the one from your ISP) or you can connect it to your ISPs router and set It up as a bridge. Either way , the device is then accessible from any Mac or PC on your network.

• Hello, The Answer is yes. Since the TimeCapsule has a built in WiFi and you provide the permissions (password access) you can have multiple users access the Time Capsule. As far as the back-up hard drive, I think so, but I am not too sure. My suggestion would be to contact your Apple or your local Apple store to verify. It may only be how you set up the back-up.
