Q: Questionwhat does this mean in simple terms? Tablet sold inactivated. Activation done in-store. Activation fees may apply. Do I have to take it to the store before setting it up to use or can I set it up at home? This is a gift.

• A:Answer That is a cellular-enabled iPad, and so that means it does not come with a cellular plan. You can use the tablet without activating the cellular aspect, but if you opt to do that, then you may have to go into a store somewhere for help if you are not familiar with how to accomplish that on your own.
