“The model number for this is GSRF-ME177LL/A which makes it seem like a refurbished ME177LL/A. But the specs for this say it has Ethernet and HDD. The current Apple ME177LL/A only has WIFI and SSD. So is this not just refurb. is it also an older model?”

This Apple Time Capsule is a refurbished 2013 model. It comes with Wi-Fi and an HDD as well as an Ethernet port.
