A:AnswerAs long as you are connected to the WiFi, you will enjoy all the functions the same as the IPhone. Some people will tell you that you can’t sue it as a phone, but you can while connected to the WiFi. I am in my office and just pulled mine out of my briefcase. It was automatically connected to the public WiFi. And there are two alerts from Apps, One Facebook and Two Youtube alerts showing and one Gmail notification.
A:AnswerHi RC,
The cases for your iPad 2 will not fit this new model. The iPad 2 is slightly bigger than this new iPad model so the tablet is not held in place securely. I found this out the hard way LOL. Thankfully we ran right back to the store and grabbed a case that would fit this new model. Happy shopping.
A:AnswerIt’s great for games. You would have to get games from the Play Store. If you set it up so a password is not required, a single tap of the finger would download the game.
A:AnswerHi Lara,
Best Buy does take the trade ins for older devices. You can search on their site or go right to the iPad section and there is a spot that says "trade in your old device". I did! Good luck!
A:AnswerI think if you look for a case that says it will fit the iPad 2017 model or if it says it will fit the 9.7in. iPad Pro it should fit yours. That’s what I used to find a case for my iPad.
A:AnswerHello Sharptech,
This version of the iPad (5th generation wi-di) will not work with the Apple pencil. Only the iPad Pro models work with the Apple Pencil. Apple just released an updated model this year (2018) of this iPad which does work with the pencil. So if you really must have the Apple Pencil, then you should move up to this latest (2018) model or even grab any version of the iPad Pro because those models (regardless of year) have support for the Apple Pencil Good luck!
A:AnswerPhone service uses the data that you have with your mobile carrier. This costs you money. Wi-Fi uses your internet access at home which is at little cost based on your internet package at home. A lot of stores and restaurants offer Wi-Fi for free but you need to sign into their service.
A:AnswerNo, this product is new. Beside the price on the right on some products, such as this one, you'll see an Open Box price as well. You can click on that to view refurbished models.
