The iPad screen works for me but if you are used to the bigger screen get an iPad pro.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what you are using it for. Using apps on an iPad is very different than using software applications on a laptop. You might want to check to make sure you can still do all the things you are hoping for before you try to completely switch. Or better yet use both. I use the iPad for a lot of things but still use the laptop for other things that might need more power or a larger screen, like photo editing. IPad apps can also be meant to integrate with your other devices like cellphones, laptops or desktop computers too. I don think that one device excludes the others. Use them together for the best of both worlds.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Look at iPad Pro. Got my first iPad as a whim and now have upgraded to the pro and very seldom (never) use anything else. Great if you travel!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have that same iPad you are looking at, I also have a laptop - MacBook Pro. I had the same concerns you do. Each have their place. But I will say that I have no problems with the screen size of the Air 2. For what it does it does best and I use it much more than the laptop. Help this makes your decision a bit easier. However if you are really concerned about screen size look at the iPad Pro.
