• It is wifi only and does not have a sim card for mobile data plans.

• The “wi-fi unlocked” means it’s a wi-fi only device. Some of the major cell phone service providers can provide service to the iPads with “wifi and cellular service” in the description for a monthly fee. It’s only provided by ATT, Verizon, and Sprint. T-Mobile does not provide iPad cellular data.
