A:AnswerAssuming this is the 7 from Total Wireless, we'd just purchased this a month ago and did in-store pickup at our local BB. The item was brand new in-box directly from Apple (unopened and with all accessories). It was definitely new and not refurbished.
A:AnswerWish I could help, but I returned my Total Wireless phone and instead purchased a similar phone from Cricket. Cricket offered Much better service and honest pricing for service. Cricket runs on Att&T so that 'might' influence whether you get service outside U.S.
