- Answer No need for current account. You can open a new account and need a credit/debit card to put monthly payments on autopay.

- Answer You do not have to enter into any new service contracts with Verizon... you can purchase the phone outright in one pymt if you wish or break it down into 24 month pymts interest free. That contract will be for the phone purchase only- you can leave Verizon at anytime

- Answer Yes, the only amount you pay is the $29.++ amount on your carrier’s monthly bill, nothing more. They will usually waive the setup fee, too.

- Answer We bought my phone on-site at a Best Buy and they transferred everything for me. Except for a few things that I had to re-log into, it was ready to go when I left the store! We pay monthly through our phone bill.

- Answer No down payment needed but you can make one if you want. You need a credit/debit card to make monthly payments and put them on autopay.

- Answer I’m really not aware of this matter. It could be that a student discount may only be offered at a certain time, such as “back to school “ or 1st college semester, perhaps if you ask each individual cellular service there may be one that offers some incentive.
