- Answer I upgraded through Best Buy , but I upgraded on my AT&T account. I chose At&T upgrade from Best Buy and paid the upgrade fees and the payments were added to my AT&T bill. You will pay the monthly fees for your phone if you added it to your AT&T account along with your AT&T bill, you will not be paying Best Buy per month unless you used a Best buy credit card. It will show you everything at the end. It will show your plan and you will have a chance to overlook it and make changes before you complete your order. The phone is very nice so good luck.

QuestionWhen will Best Buy allow you to buy the phone at their retail store price? My local Best Buy is only letting me buy the iPhone X with a contract phone plan through ATT, Verizon or Sprint.

QuestionCan you be on a call and able to surf at the same time without having to be on Wi-Fi? Very useful when using Bluetooth or speaker to talk. s4 can do it as a normal function but it seems some of these thousand dollar phones can't manage such a basic task.

- Answer Yes, you can only buy through Best Buy by signing up with a provider. You can go to Apple and purchase but you will still need to select a carrier. If you buy and sign up for a plan but prefer to pay for your phone in full you can do it on your first bill from your carrier.

- Answer When I bought mine I was surprised that they had it! To answer your question I was told that they were currently only doing upgrades. I'm not sure how long that would be going on but Thank you BEST Buy for taking care of upgrade customers and not just RE Sellers.

- Answer If you get it through a carrier like ATT I would guess they check your credit when you sign up for the plan. I would suggest contacting the carrier

- Answer Any iPhone is unlocked, we do not sell iPhones specifically for metro PCS or T- mobile. If you buy the phone outright, you can then take it to that carrier and have it activated there.
