- Answer no, you get the phone immediately pay for 18 months w the option to start a lease on a new phone or pay the difference from the lease and the full phone price and then own the phone at the end of the lease.

- Answer You can pay monthly at Best Buy. When we bought this one my daughter paid some cash we put some on a credit card and left the balance in payments on the bill. And we used geek squad insurance instead of Verizon. The last 3 phones I purchased at Best Buy. Excelllent transactins. 100% satisfied.

- Answer I am not leasing and it would mostly depend on your carrier. My previous lease was for 18 months. I am making payments on this phone for 24 I believe. I did turn my phone in to my carrier instead of paying off my lease. Hope that helps.
