A:Answer I understand that phones with the “activate today” label must be purchased with a cell phone service plan. That’s the reason ithey are cheaper, because these phones are bundled with a service plan.
The “activate later” name is confusing, it just mean you can buy the service later or even put a SIM card from your current phone and it should work if the phone is unlocked (that’s what I did with the last activate later phone I purchased)
