It is a perfect fit for a Mini. I bought it for a Mac Mini M4 and it has excellent performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Transferring information is SO easy with Migration Assistant which comes with macs in their Utilities folder. Very simple process. Note - check the amount of data you're transferring over. The base model Mac mini only holds 256GB, get an enclosure with an NVMe SSD that attaches via thunderbolt to hold extra files. Lots of tutorials online telling how to do all this. As for the iMac as a monitor, everything i read said that only works with older, pre 2015 iMacs with an older OS as well. But search! you may find a way.
