• A:Answer Yes and No. Yes, a 27-inch iMac from 2011 can be used as an external monitor with Target Display Mode (TDM). TDM allows some iMac models to be used as external monitors for other Macs. The iMac must be running macOS High Sierra or earlier, and the Mac connecting to the iMac must have been released in 2019 or earlier, and running macOS Catalina or earlier So, that being said, I do not believe that the Mac Mini 2nd generation will work with this but the 1st gen shouldn't have an issue.

• A:Answer Not yet -- From Protools site: Minimum System Requirements -- macOS: Pro Tools is not yet qualified with macOS Sonoma 14.x due to a number of known issues HD Driver 2023.6 and higher is not compatible with older computers such as the Mac Pro 5,1, or any computer running macOS Mojave (10.14.x), and will result in Pro Tools with HDX or HD Native hardware failing to launch with a -6001 error. • A:Answer I have the Mac mini Pro with the M2 chip. I also have an HP M32f FHD monitor that is 31 inches diagonally. The Mac mini is able to support this monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a refresh rate of 75 hertz. I have also tested it on a 23" monitor and it worked very well with that monitor too. I feel the Mac mini Pro is a very nice computer that has the power to meet your needs, even if you are doing video editing or other CPU intense tasks.
