• Yes they can. BUT the ram upgrade wouldn’t be that difficult. I’ve worked on PCs for many years. Apple computers aren’t really that different. There are videos you can watch with step by step instructions that are super easy to follow, and will save you money. It don’t have to be Apple specific RAM as long as it’s DDR4 SO-DIMM, basically laptop ram. Same thing.

• Yes, though the the labor will be roughly the same if you took it to Apple and had the geniuses who are far more skilled perform the upgrade.
