• I am a full time student also and 70% of our work is online, buying the 128 g and 8 g ram is more than enough, if u only gonna use it for school..

• It really depends on the class. If it's a computer animation or video production class, I would recommend a more powerful computer such as the Macbook Pro. If it's a basic class such as History or Chemistry, then the Macbook Air with get the job done.
