- Answer I actually learned of the student discount in store. The sales rep walked me thru the registration process on the Best Buy website from my smart phone. It only took a few minutes and was well worth the savings.

QuestionI could have sworn I read that my laptop that I just ordered comes with 1 free year of AppleCare.. is that correct? I am new to the MacBook world and am not sure how that works. Thanks!

- Answer The MacBook Air comes with a limited 1 year warranty, 30 days of phone support, and no accidental coverage. You can optionally buy AppleCare to extend that to 3 years of warranty, 3 years of phone support, and accidental coverage (albeit with some deductibles) but the MacBook Air does not include AppleCare by default.

- Answer If it isn’t already used and/or you still have the box and receipt, you could return it to your local store and then purchase it again with the student discount. Although, check with an attendant before doing so.

- Answer Visit the apple website for detailed information regarding what exactly will fit on the drive. Please note that there is a SD Card Slot if you feel that storage is insufficient. It is not a larger drive, but can be used to store photos, music etc. if you feel that 128 will not hold enough.
